Thoughts and Prayers

Families who have children with special needs have an 80% divorce rate. Mary's Family knows several families who are coping with divorce. It is extremely painful and we prefer to not state their names. But please keep our special families in your hearts.

Stress can cause caregivers to die early. We also know a family who is coping with an untimely death. When a caregiver dies, leaving the other parent to struggle alone, it is particularly horrendous. We hope that you will ALWAYS lend a hand when you see a caregiver struggling....

Children have returned to school. Your thoughts and prayers should be with parents trying to advocate for their children, teachers who need to successfully include our children in ALL activities and school administrators who need to comply with all Federal and State laws. People often make mistakes because they don't know the rules. Let's get out all the information we can to everyone who has a legal requirement to take care of our children.
